Spanish Classes in the Amazon Jungle
Located In the eastern part of the country, the Amazon jungle is home of a vast number of endemic species, and has been described as a land of mega-diversity. Here you can find approximately 25,000 species of plants (compared to only 17000 in the whole of North America), 1600 species of birds, 350 species of reptiles and 370 species of mammals including giant otters, monkeys, giant guinea-pigs, sloths, bears, tapirs, jaguars, pumas and the list goes on... We offer a variety of different ways to see the Amazon Rainforest. Our Amazon Spanish Courses gives you the perfect opportunity to do so. The Amazon Jungle program is one of our most popular Spanish learning programs. This Spanish Course gives you the opportunity to take Spanish classes and immerse deep in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest.
Spanish at our eco-lodge in the heart of the Amazon
Our School is located in Orellana province, one hour driving down the Napo River. Your adventure to the Amazon Jungle starts on Sunday at 8:30am. We departure from Quito to el Coca city, (in the Amazon) then the group will take 1 hour motorized canoe ride down the Rio Napo. After refuelling with lunch, students will have their first Spanish class in the afternoon. From Tuesday to Friday Spanish classes will be held in the morning starting at 8:30am, for four hours. Each afternoon after lunch, students will have the opportunity go on an excursion exploring the diversity of the Amazon Jungle, fishing piranhas, watching colourful birds, monkeys, anacondas, or admiring alligators and iguanas during night walks
Spanish courses in a Shuar Community
Experience a lifestyle like no other on the planet in the Shuar community of the Amazon Jungle in Pastaza province. You will have the opportunity to get to know these extraordinary people, their culture and traditions, go on daily excursions through the jungle while taking Spanish classes with one of our specialized teachers.
Your adventure starts on Sunday morning at 9:00am, when we departure from Quito to Puyo, located in the Jungle. From there we drive deep into the heart of the Amazon for 4 hours, until we arrive in the Shuar community in the afternoon. Our Spanish classes are held from Monday to Friday starting at 8:30, for four hours. Each afternoon after lunch, students will have the opportunity go on jungle excursions.

- Camping in the jungle: a visit to the jungle is a great experience, but camping and felling into direct contact with Mother Nature creates an extraordinary sensation.
- Bird watching: always choosing the most convenient time in the mornings, evenings or hours after the rains.
- Swimming and Fishing Trips: fishing trip gives you the chance to feel and experience the way the natives seek for their food by capturing piranhas, peacock bass, and tarpon.
- Exploration of the jungle by canoe: it's possible to penetrate and explore the underwater wilderness along the Amazon Rivers to watch and enjoy the wonderful changes and transformation of the ecosystems.
- Watch the sunrise and sunset of our rainforest: the Amazon jungle has some of the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises, which are incredibly bright with spectacular colours.
- Round trip transportation Quito - Jungle - Quito (9 hours by bus).
- Round trip Coca - Eco lodge - Coca (1 hour by motorized canoe).
- Accommodation in double occupancy natural huts, 5 days/4 nights per week. Additional cost for weekends after the first week.
- Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), except during transit through Coca.
